Mark Felt was the Number Two guy at the FBI under Hoover. He saw it all. He also felt the FBI had a very clear agenda for the country tied to a notion of service which didn’t necessarily include the antics of Watergate. Late in life, he came out as Deep Throat, the man who gave the Washington Post the details that led to RMN’s resignation.
