Gorgeous porcelain in stark white to be used for cheesemaking to drain whey from the curds. Perfect for ricotta! Minton was a major ceramicist started by Thomas Minton (1765-1836), in Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England, in 1793, producing earthenware. He formed a partnership in 1796, with Joseph Poulson who made bone china. The products are now functional art, referred to as "Minton".
